Last but not least is recreation. Recreation is the activity people do for enjoyment, relaxation, and merriment. It also includes games and other activities provided by the restaurant.

Hotel branding has also played an important role over the period. Branding through advertisements and social sites has evoked a major response from travelers. The way of branding influences the market and hotels bank on it majorly. Also, travel sites and hotel booking sites have been helping in generating positive reviews for the hotels. The hospitality industry has undergone a major change and it certainly deserves a mention.

Hotel Taj Mahal Palace And Beyond

After their entry into hotel segment through Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, there was no looking back for Tata Group. Their foray into hotel business through Taj Hotels was a landmark entry. After an opening of Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, Mumbai, their focus on hotels started in the 1970s. In 1974, the group opened its first international five-star deluxe beach resorts Taj Fort Aguada Resort and Spa, Goa and five-star deluxe hotel Taj Coromandel in Chennai. Taj Ganges in Benares soon followed these hotels. In the 1980s, they came up with two hotels in Delhi, two in Bangalore and one in Chennai, Ooty, and Agra among others.
